The Government College of Engineering (Formerly IRTT) was founded in 1984. It was run by All Transport Corporations of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The Institute is now a Government College. It is situated on the sprawling campus of lush green covering 200 acres. It is a welcoming and comfortable environment that is ideal for Technical Education.
