Ismail Saheb Mulla Law College, Satara, was established in the year 1968. It is run by Rayat Shikshan Sanstha one of the leading educational institutions in Asia. The college is committed to promoting quality education enhancing academic excellence and professional advocacy skills ensuring all round development of students. They thought that education should become the real force for the liberation of the masses from social and religious bondage and should further become an instrument of National integration. The main motive is to provide opportunities for legal education to the masses including the people from rural areas and to develop legal educational institutions for spreading legal literacy among people to facilitate the accomplishment of democratic aspirations of people.

Infrastructure and Facilities

The college was established in 1968 and was accommodated in mere four rooms of the Mahatma Phule Adhyapak Vidhyalaya. In 1975 college was shifted to the first floor of the newly constructed administrative building of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha. After the introduction of the New Five year law course, in 1985, as per BCI norms, an exclusive building for Law College became necessary. In 2006-07 new, independent, spacious building was constructed exclusively for Law College, located in the heart of the city near the central administrative building of the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha. The college has adequate and spacious infrastructure facilities to create an optimum learning ambiance. It includes adequate, spacious, and well-ventilated 9 digital classrooms, 1 Moot Court hall, Legal aid clinic, Principal cabin, office, Faculty room, library and reading room, computer Lab, gymkhana room, Lady's Common room; Pantry, canteen, and Auditorium, available for smooth functioning of academic as well as an administrative wing. Separate Sanitary blocks are available for the principal, faculty, office staff, boys, and girls.

IT Infrastructure

Considering the core values of the Use of Technology and inculcating Global Competencies among students,the college has established Computer Lab with 25 computers, Intranet Web Server, Digital Learning Lab, and Legal Language Lab. All Classrooms are made Digital Class Rooms for ICT-enabled teaching and learning.

Other facilities

Facilities for the disabled: The college has provided facilities of lifts, railings, and ramps for the disabled and aged persons. Security and CCTV Surveillance: The entire campus is closely fenced and guarded by security personnel who keep vigilance around the clock throughout the year. Sufficient numbers of CCTV cameras are installed in the crucial points of the campus.

Fire Extinguisher: As a safety measure, the arrangement of fire extinguishers is made on every floor.

Parking: There is sufficient parking space on the ground floor reserved for staff and students. The area is under surveillance by CCTV cameras.

Canteen Block: To seek the welfare of the students, teachers, and staff canteens facility is available within the campus on the ground floor. Food quality is maintained at a subsidized rate.
