Pragati: A scheme of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in association with AICTE at assisting in the advancement of girl participation in technical education. ”Empowering women through education” is implemented through a scholarship scheme amounting to Rs 20 Cr per annum towards tuition fees incidentals, for pursuing Technical education in AICTE-approved institutions.  This is an attempt to give every young woman the opportunity to further her education and prepare for a successful future.

The Purpose of the III-cell is to share the knowledge between industry and institute to equip the students coming out of the institute to cater to the needs of the industry about the skill competence and the trained manpower. Industries and Institutes are lying entirely indifferent to world activities. But the institution has to know the activities going on in the industries. An effective industry-institute relationship would help to benefit the industry and institute by way of sharing knowledge, training needs of the institute, project guidance and placement of students and problem-solving in the industries through consultations. The platform of III-Cell will provide the institute with effective communication with the industries that would develop a perennial growth between the two in terms of technology up-gradation and awareness.
