The Jagran School of Law was established in 2013 in the city of Dehradun which is an educational hub of Northern India. It is steadfast in virtually redefining legal education in Dehradun with a focus on “Creating Law Professionals” to be absorbed in the global market.

The Jagran School of Law is a new initiative of the Shri Puran Chandra Gupta Smarak Trust, Kanpur, which is deeply rooted in the culture of academic excellence. The trust was established in 1987 in the memory of late Shri Puran Chandra Gupta, the founder of Dainik Jagran newspaper. His Holiness Late Shri Swami Ram, Spiritual Head of the Trust emphasized establishing the best possible education synthesizing the Indian Culture, heritage, and traditions with modern education technology.

A separate reading room with the latest magazines and newspapers has been provided in the hostels for the students to catch up on current affairs during their free time.

The library of Jagran School of Law is designed in a manner that the ground floor has been marked to the library resources with a wide collection of research materials and books for law, Political Science, Sociology, History, English, Management, reference books, back volumes of journals and periodicals. And the first floor provides ample space and environment for learning and research.
