Jai Hind College was established in 1948 by a small band of dedicated teachers of the D.J Sind College Karachi.
Jai Hind College was founded in 1948 by a small group of dedicated teachers from DJ Sind College in Karachi. A tragic world event, the partition of India, had driven them from their homes, their friends, and their jobs. Weaker men would have succumbed to such adversity, but they were braver men. They came to Bombay and persevered despite all the obstacles to achieve their goal of the creation of an educational institution to which they can contribute their skills, knowledge, and skills.
Jai Hind College has been reaccredited in the 3rd Cycle of NAAC with an 'A' Grade with a CGPA of 3.52 on 4.

Residential Accommodation
Separate boys' and girls' hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with Wi-Fi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate about 450 students each with good infrastructure. A university van and car are always available to meet emerging customer needs. A well-equipped gym is established so that the students of the inn develop the physical ability of boys and girls. The library
The library has a rich collection of nearly 52100 and subscribes to about 19 dailies and 30 journals and 45 periodicals 57 complimentary magazines. The library has a comprehensive reference collection containing encyclopedias, handbooks, dictionaries, atlas, etc. The library has a wide range of novels in different languages and other light reading material catering to diverse interests. The library collection includes languages like English, Marathi, Hindi, Sindhi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, and French.
Canteen
It is speckless and maintained very well. Provides good quality fresh snacks, cold drinks, coffee, tea, and other food items in a hygienic and healthy way that fits in the student's pocket.
Sport
Physical education is strongly aimed at improving the physical and mental health of each player. This results in the development of dynamic personalities. Sports activities and achievements have helped many people get better job opportunities. The clean area with the natural gift of fresh air is an inspiring resource, which motivates the player to perform better. Sport has the same weight as academics. All sports activities are encouraged by making all facilities available when students participate in intercollegiate, intra-college, and other tournaments. The victorious university teams have won all major sporting events in Tamil Nadu including the Anna University Interzonal Sports Championship.
Jai Hind College, Mumbai accepts admission through various entrance exams like CAT (Common Entrance Exam).
