Jaipur College of Pharmacy (JCP) established in the year 2003 and managed by “The Modern Society for Education & Research”, is solely devoted to the growth and development of Pharmacy education in the state of Rajasthan. Members of the Society include eminent educationists, educational administrators, and highly qualified professionals from the field of Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering, Science and Technology, and allied subjects. The management has a great ambition to provide the best Pharmacy education to the students.

JCP is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Govt. of Rajasthan, and is affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur.JCP is located at Sitapura Institutional Area, Jaipur just behind Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and Medical College.

Facilities and Infrastructure

Library:

JCP has a huge library that has different sections like Periodical Section, Stack Room, and Reading area. It is well-ventilated and peaceful. The library of JCP has more than 10,000 books and 5-6 regional newspapers including English and Hindi. The college has subscriptions to many international and national journals. Theses of all pass-out M.Pharm & Ph.D. students are available in the library for reference purposes. Reference books include British Pharmacopoeia, Indian Pharmacopoeia, European Pharmacopoeia, and United States Pharmacopoeia, etc.

Computer Facility:

Jaipur College of Pharmacy believes in the use of information technology in all spheres of its activities in line with current trends. To facilitate this, the computer lab is well equipped with the latest PCs and software & a state-of-art Local Area Network (LAN), providing a multi-user environment on the Windows platform to meet both present and future needs. The college provides computer lab facilities with a 1:3 computer-student ratio.

The campus is Wi-Fi enabled to help students access the Internet on a 24×7 basis. The students are connected to the internet through a high-speed broadband connection that allows for seamless and uninterrupted connectivity to the World Wide Web. Internet and Intranet enable online interactions between faculty and students.

Auditorium:

The Auditorium is the venue for various academic & cultural events. It is acoustically designed with a seating capacity of 500 persons with an excellent communication network that provides the desired connectivity between the Speaker and the audience. The fully air–cooled auditorium is fitted with best lighting & sound facility with video display systems that provide comfortable atmosphere to make an excellent presentation.

Campus:

Jaipur College of Pharmacy has its own aesthetic beauty. The college welcomes everyone who enters the portal with its lush green campus surrounded by trees and numerous plants. Besides this, there are colorful landscape gardens creating many green spots in and around the campus. Efforts are being made to develop the campus on green concepts, particularly focusing on water conservation, rainwater harvesting, use of alternative sources of energy, solid waste management system, etc.

The campus is designed with several initiatives for reducing energy consumption and utilizing renewable natural resources such as solar panels. Jaipur College of Pharmacy is conscious and committed to the environmental issues with regard to the protection, conservation, and sustenance of natural resources

The college has a recreation center within the campus. This has become a favorite hangout for the students during their free hours. The cafeteria which not only has a great ambiance but also many cuisine choices of food, remains a focal point for the rest, refreshment, and relaxation of the students Right from various choices for food and energy drinks to an exclusive ice cream counter. The cafeteria is a place of delight and invigoration for the people on the campus. Here taste, hygiene, and nutrition go hand in hand in equal measure, none exclusive of the other.

Transport Facility:

JCP is located in the RIICO Institutional Area, Sitapura, Tonk Road, Jaipur from where regular public transport services are available for all parts of the city. Apart from this, the college has its own bus for the to and fro movement of students from all major areas of Jaipur City.
