• Jamia Hamdard University became founded in 1989 and is an institute of higher education deemed to be a university placed in New Delhi. The university gives graduate programs in Law, Medicine, Unani Medicine, Pharmacy, Information Technology, Business Management, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy, Computer Applications. 

  Accreditation and Ranking

  The QS World University Rankings ranked Jamia Hamdard 301–350 in Asia in 2020, and 211–220 among BRICS nations in 2019. In India 21st among universities, 2nd in the medical ranking, and first in the pharmacy ranking, and its was ranked 37th overall by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2020.   Facilities and Infrastructure

  Residential Accommodation :

  The hostel limited accommodations for students and there are 9 hostels. The hostel has all the necessary facilities like a 24*7 power supply, wifi connectivity, and clean & hygienic environments. The hostel provides mess facilities and they served hygienic food.

  Library :

  The library is very impressive and their air conditioner with well stock in library. The Library has 6 Faculty libraries and 1 central library. Five faculty libraries - F/o Science library, F/o Medical & Allied Health Sciences library, F/o Nursing library, F/o Medicine library, and F/o Pharmacy library. With a conventional collection, the library assets exceed 1.75 LAKHS items that include books, lined volumes of magazines, rare books, manuscripts, etc. The library receives Indian and foreign journals covering medicine, pharmacy, nursing, biotechnology, toxicology, computer science, management sciences, religion, and social sciences.

  Convention Center:

  The Convention Center hall is well equipped and air-conditional and has a seating capacity of 200+ seats. They also have a mini-conference room with a capacity of over 50 seats. The campus has held numerous programs and events - academic and cultural.

  Labs :

  The university has a computer center that works as a lab computing center, and device evaluation units, in addition to all-important peripherals and considered necessary software. There are 5 labs in the computer center, with facilities for respective student improvement areas.
