The Jamia Salafiya Pharmacy College was established in 1998 with the aim of imparting quality education and research in the sphere of pharmacy and allied sectors. Started with Diploma in Pharmacy, the college geared up with B. Pharm in 2004, M. Pharm in 2010, and Pharm. D in 2018. We continue to be a center of excellence.

The college is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Kerala Government along with the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). With the aim of keeping our course content in line with the current research and practices, we carry out training and workshops for pharmacists, alongside with Kerala State Pharmacy Council. The academic ambiance of the campus is constituted by state-of-the-art classrooms, a digital library, an animal house, and laboratories equipped with advanced instruments.

Our library is constructed as a separate building that is carefully designed to maximize natural lighting and ventilation to provide a comfortable seating and reading environment. Jamia Salafiya Girls Hostel established in 1998 and located within the college campus has been an integral part of the college. Providing homely accommodation for more than 150 girls at an affordable price in a safe and secure environment, the hostel ensures a pleasant stay for academically aspiring students. Placement cell plays a vital role in the development of our college. Our motto is- “Right Job for the Right Person at the Right Place”. Those students who cleared all subjects till the last year of every course can register in the placement cell. Placement cell gives updates to the students regarding the current trends in the pharma industry and clinical pharmacy. As part of the curriculum, students visit pharma industries, eminent research centers, hospitals, and community pharmacies. Our institution has MoUs with different research laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, and hospitals (national & international levels) for the training of students. We regularly conduct seminars, mock interviews, and internship programs to nurture the students with professional and job ethics. Our students are placed in different areas of the pharmaceutical field in and abroad in India.
