Janki Devi Vocational Centre under the aegis of Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society was set up with the objective “Commitment to improving the future of Women”.

Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society was established in 1952 by the dynamic and visionary Late Shri Brijkrishan Chandiwala, a veteran Gandhian and philanthropist, in memory of his illustrious father Late Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala. President of prominent social services organizations such as Bharat Sewak Samaj and Sadachar Samiti, Shri Brijkrishan Chandiwala was a simple man, endowed with a visionary mind, and was awarded “PADMSHRI”.This commitment coupled with our quest for excellence has spurred our growth and led us into the twenty-first Century. We at JDVC are alive not only to the present needs of our country but also to the emerging challenges of the future. Continuous improvement has been the mainstay of our existence for the past 41 years. The center is positive about providing the best and most up-to-date skill development training to its students.

Courses Offered are a Certificate Course for Textile Designing, Diploma Course for Fashion Design, Diploma Course in Interior Designing, and Master Certificate Course in Digital Marketing. Master Certificate Course in Business Analytics, Advance Diploma in Travel & Tourism, Office Management, Secretarial Practices, Garment Manufacturing Technology, Nursery Primary Teacher Training, BHM Bachelor of Hotel Management, BBA Bachelor of Business Administration.

Facilities and infrastructure :

Computer Lab :

At J.D.V.C. application of computers in every course is mandatory to make the student computer savvy. We have well-equipped computer labs with an internet connection and the latest software accessories, where students can work on their projects and practice for long hours.

Library : 

We have our own resource center with a wide range of reference books, journals, magazine periodicals, etc; on different subjects like Fashion, Textile, Interior, Jewellery, Apparel, Computer, Secretarial practice, etc of Indian and foreign authors and publishers. Students can utilize the collection to enhance their knowledge.

Well-equipped Garment Construction Lab : 

Our spacious garment construction labs are fully equipped with the latest machines and other equipment. Each student gets an individual machine to do their work. We also have an embroidery lab where students get exposure to hand Embroidery and other surface ornamentation techniques to explore the production department

Beauty Culture Lab : 

To impart training with the latest instruments and machinery. An innovative way of teaching creates a conducive environment of learning.

News Studio : 

A well-equipped News Studio provides the student with an environment where they can practice News Reading, Anchoring & Chat Shows. These recording sessions enhance the confidence of Media Students.

Textile Lab :

We have a Big & Spacious Textile Lab where students get exposure to different types of printings and weaving on looms.

Spacious and well-illuminated rooms provide a friendly and healthy environment to work for longer hours.

Garden : 

At J.D.V.C. we not only provide education but also cater to the aesthetic senses by maintaining green space with a variety of flowers and greenery.

J.D.V.C shares excellent canteen facilities with J.D.M.C. Students can enjoy a wide and sumptuous variety of food at a reasonable rate.

Auditorium :

We share a spacious and open-air auditorium with J.D.M.C. college to conduct different events during the session.
