Training & Placement for Jawaharlal College Of Engineering And Technology 

•JCET is one of the most reputed institutions for technical education. The Training and Placement Cell of JCET coordinates the placement activities of all engineering departments. The training and placement cell provides arrangements for pre-placement talks and other activities. The cell always keeps prompting relations with recruiters. The cell collaborates with various industries and corporations which conduct campus interviews and select students from all disciplines. The Training & Placement Cell provides the infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests, and interviews.

•All the students will undergo the training provided by the JCET faculties and external faculties. The placement training will happen in three phases. The first phase includes general guidance to students regarding the corporate culture. The second phase includes corporate talks and other grooming sessions. And, the final phase deals with individual training for students. After the three phases of the training, the students will be equipped for campus placements.

•The Training and Placement Cell interacts with many industries in the country, of which nearly 30 companies visit the campus to conduct campus interviews.

•The Students are trained in various skill sets as per the requirements of the Industry from the 1st Year onwards as part of their curriculum (i.e., Soft Skills, Aptitude Test, Group Discussion, and Tech cum HR Interviews).

•Organize Industry professionals to conduct career guidance seminars and help students realize and work towards their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions.

•Organizing Industrial Visits / Internships / Educational Tours for the students.

•Conduct an Annual Event – HR Conclave and tap into HR from various industries for the students to understand the current trends/job scenarios in different sectors.

•Students from each department would register for placements to their respective placement coordinators and submit their details with T&P Cell at the beginning of their Final Year.
