NGI features the Oldest Aeronautical campus in South India. Our campus are value added with King Air c90, Beach Aircraft, Learjet 25B, Cessna150&152, Hawker125, Ercoupe, Bell and EnstromF28 Helicopters, and 1 lakh sq. ft of Aeronautical Lab. Apart from the aeronautical lab in NGI, all the departments are supported with modern labs, and built-in industrial standards focus on molding technocrats with industrial experience. All the laboratories are well equipped to carry out project activities as well, and our students can utilise for carrying out experimentation, test and evaluation activities which form part of their academic project work during the pre-final and final years of their programmes

The library is the soul of any institution. It is a center for acquiring, processing, preserving, and disseminating information to the user community with the motto of empowering knowledge. NGI boasts of P K Das Knowledge Fort, the Central Library which caters to over 9000 students and 450 faculties. The central library is one of the best academic libraries in this part of the country in terms of its size, Architecture, Resources, and ICT-enabled services. The library is situated in the middle of our T.M. Palayam campus having a built-up area of 30000sq. ft.

Hostels & Staff Quarters

NGI provides a separate hostel for boys and girls with excellent amenities inside the college campus. We facilitate accommodation for more than 5000 student in which we provide A/c and Non A/c rooms. All the hostels are provided with spacious mess halls and modern kitchens. Effective waste disposal and wastewater treatment plants ensure environmental protection. All the hostels are sufficiently energized with generator backup with 125KVA generators and cable television facility provided on each hostel. Caring wardens and tight security ensures a pleasant stay, allowing students to focus on their studies

The ability to work as a team is a critical skill in the corporate workplace which NGI students learn to master in Syndicate Rooms. The Syndicate Rooms provide the perfect setting to acquire team skills through exercises like brainstorming sessions, group discussions, role-plays, etc. Apart from syndicate rooms P K Das Memorial Auditorium has a seating capacity of 3000.

JCET campus is situated in a charming location surrounded by enchanting bluish mountains at the horizon and green paddy fields. Naturally, this crystal clear atmosphere is conducive to education and other extra-curricular activities. JCET classrooms are spacious,with Comfortable chairs and benches to the students.

They enjoy modern Laboratories and Workshops.JCET’s teachers and staff are parental in their attitude towards the students. Teachers treat their students in a warm cordial and friendly manner. The students reciprocate the same with respect and reverence to the teachers. Besides studies, the students take a part in a number of activities like paper presentation,workshop,mock interviews,festivals like Onam and Christmas apart from the sports and games

Candidates for admission to the B.Tech. Engineering degree courses shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together.

However candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry together are eligible for admission under management quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered.
