Shri Jagannath Educational Health and Charitable Trust were established by renowned and philanthropic people to provide education to all especially the downtrodden and rural population. Considering the growing demands for technical education in the country the trust has started an engineering college namely JCT College of Engineering and Technology in Pichanur, Coimbatore for the academic year 2009-2010.

Infrastructure and Facilities

Sports Facilities:

Our college has the basic infrastructure required for the development of sports skills for students both indoor facilities and outdoor sports facilities to provide opportunities for the students to train themselves. The various teams comprising the students of our college have participated in Anna University Inter Collegiate Tournaments, Coimbatore Inter-Collegiate Athletic Association Tournaments, and Tamil Nadu Inter Engineering Sports Tournaments.

Library:

The JCT College of Engineering and Technology Library functions as a client-oriented learning resource center focusing on the data and information needed for students, faculty, and staff. The scientific and technical information, computing, networking, and multimedia technologies are the foundations of the Library which has evolved from a Building of books to a learning and Information center. The Library supports the college by providing a technologically robust environment to enhance student learning. The library covers an area of 900 sq.m., on the 1st floor of the main building. To meet the requirement of students and staff, unique collections of Books & Journals are available in Printed forms and Electronic materials on subjects such as Basic Sciences, Engineering & Technology, and Science & Humanities.

Transport Facilities:

College Buses have been arranged to transport students and members of the faculty from various parts of Coimbatore and Palakkad towns. More buses will be arranged depending on the needs of the students.
