Jeevan Polytechnic College was established in the year 2012. It has been committed to offering quality education, especially in the field of Diploma Engineering. It aims to uplift the youngest aspirants of rural society and economically backward districts of Trichy. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Facilities and Infrastructure

Our library is well-established and caters to the need of each student and faculty member. It is functioning as an open-access system for all members of the College. The library consists of a wide range of subject Books, National & International Journals, Magazines, Local News Papers, Weekly/Monthly Magazines, Periodicals, Research and Technical Reports, etc. A sufficient amount of furniture is provided for reading / taking notes / Small subject discursions, Xerox Machine for copying, CDs on different subjects, Purified R.O. water for Drinking and Toilet facilities. The library has generous lending limits and new books are purchased for the students on request. The library is open between 9.30 am to 5.30 pm on all working days. On the whole, the library is well equipped with the latest technology and supported by a good atmosphere.

A well-supported canteen has been established within the college campus. Refreshments, Juices, bottled drinks, pocket snacks & Mini Tiffin items have been provided to suit the different tastes of the students.

A fully air-conditioned computer lab with Wi-Fi facility is provided, for the learning benefit of students. The computer lab consists of the latest software catering to the academic and research needs of the students. Around 100 computers are initially installed in the computer lab to cater to the needs of each student. A well-equipped computer-based communication skills laboratory is set up for the students to develop their communication and interpersonal skills and to equip them with skilled & well qualified to meet the latest industry requirements.

Jeevan Polytechnic arranged excellent hostel and food facilities for the students. Separate hostels for Boys & Girls are provided on the college campus, with innumerable conveniences for rest and relaxation, and unhindered study. Well-cleaned, well-lit, and airy hostel rooms are provided. Security has been provided to both the hostel during night time.

The College is fully equipped with a modern English Language Lab with computers of the latest configuration and specially produced English enhancement software available to develop their communication skills. Audio / Video facilities are available to improve the student’s communication skills.

Jeevan Polytechnic College ply four buses from Kulithalai, Thuvarankurichi, Tharagampatti, and Palaviduthi for the benefit of the students and the staff. Buses are also utilized for local Industrial visits for our students

Placement Cell

The Training & Placement Cell plays a crucial role in scouting for and locating job opportunities for the young students passing out from the college by keeping liaisons with reputed firms and industrial establishments. It functions under the supervision of a full-time Training and Placement Officer. The placement cell operates around the year to facilitate contact between companies and students. The number of students who are placed through campus placements is continuously rising. On invitation, many reputed industries visit the Jeevan Polytechnic College to conduct campus interviews.
