Jhulelal Institute of Technology has been established as an Engineering and Management school founded in 2008 and named after the God of the Sindhi people-Jhulelal, also known as Dariyalal. Library

The Library & Information Centre of College was operational at the time of the founding in the College i.e. 2008. It is aimed at creating an extensive collection of documents that are beneficial to faculty members as well as students for their education and research at the Institute. It assists all students and staff of the College i.e. Staff from Teaching and Non-Teaching and students. The central Library is equipped with an E-Library area, Stack Room and a section for periodicals as well as a Reference section. Reading Hall (Separate for students and staff). Every user has open access to all the sections of Library. Library functions like Acquisition cataloging, Circulation Control of Serials and OPAC are automated with the help of integrated software ERP created and developed in collaboration with TANTRANSH SOLUTIONS, NAGPUR. The circulation of books using barcodes is a common practice. The Library is working to expand the collection. The Books are classified according to the UDC the classification system.

Library is a lifetime institution member in the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) and annual membership with DELNET. Information from the National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) and other Electronic Resources are also available to the community of users. E-journals on the internet can be downloaded.

Canteen

The canteen is maintained well within the premises of Jhulelal Institute of Technology named as "WOODS CAFE". Canteen serves a variety of meals, breakfast eateries and snacks with decent hygiene and at an affordable price. Affordable measures have been put in place by members of the committee for the canteen, to ensure the health of students serving healthy food and drinking water that is safe to drink in the college's canteen. The canteen also provides facilities for faculty members to their desks in the form of coffee, tea, Snacks. The canteen is spacious and well-planned seating area to accommodate a large amount of students simultaneously.

Medical Room Facility at JIT

An MOU has been signed between JIT and Janta Maternity Home & Hospital (JMH&H) in Jaripatka Nagpur.Whereas JIT JIT offers medical treatment and diagnostics facilities for employees, their family members, and students according to the schedule from time the moment, and Whereas JMH&H has accepted to provide medical treatment and diagnostic facilities to employees, their family members, and students who are members of JIT at the current rates at JMH&H from when to time on a an cash-free basis.

Furthermore, JIT agrees to send an appropriate request letter to JMH&H to prove medical treatment and diagnostic services with the appropriate limit on a cashless basis to any family member or student and to pay within seven days of the invoice issued by JMH&H.

Gym

The college is home to its own gym. It is fitted with all modern and multi-functional equipment for health. Staff and students are able to access it at no cost. Separate schedules for staff and students is set up. It's a way of creating good habits that lead to long-term advantages. The rules, regulations and discipline are strictly adhered to in the gym , under the supervision by Professor. Biswajit Saha, Physical Education Department JIT. We take great care during the instruction of students at the Gym. Our students are thrilled to take part in JIT Gym.

Music Club

About JIT's Music Club: Music is the primary language used by the the soul. Music Club is focused on encouraging students to be involved and to be exposed to competitions at various levels. The college began Music Club in 2016 with the aim of promoting music talent among students. The club has evolved into an important venue for students to show their talents of instrumental and vocal music. Members of the club use their time to practice, perform either solo or in groups, and offer encouragement to others as they pursue their musical interests.

Bus Facility

JIT is home to a fleet of luxurious buses that transport students to their places of study. The facility for transport is offered to faculty, students, and staff living within the 70-kilometer radius of the campus. The college buses cover all important locations within Nagpur, Kamptee, Saoner for students and staff get to the campus.

Each bus operates according to the regulations and rules set forth by the RTO like Fitness Permit, Permit, Insurance PUC and Tax certificates. Buses are fitted with speed Governors and GPRS First Aid Box and Fire Extinguisher and Emergency Door. which are covered under RTO regulations. Additionally, many MSRTC buses operate on the road that connects towards the school.

Admission

In admissions into BE course BE course is made according to the performance of the candidate in the MHT CET/JEE exam and admission into M.Tech is determined on GATE scores that are valid.
