In addition, each department has a Departmental Library to cater to the needs of the students for textbooks and reference books.
Transport
For the convenience of non-residential students and staff, 35 buses are operated from different destinations in and around Trichy and also from far-off places like Tanjore, Thuraiyur, Pudukottai, Vaiyampatti, Thuvarankurichy, Musiri, Lalgudi, Manaparai, OFT, Tharagampatti, Keeranur, Viralimalai, Illupur, Thogaimalai, Ponnamaravathy at a cost cheaper than public and private transports.
Hostel
There are 4 (Four) separate hostels for Boys and 2 (Two) separate hostels for Girls on campus. The Girl's Hostels can accommodate 950 girls and the boys' hostels can accommodate 1280 students. Separate messes are attached to the hostels providing quality and nutritious food in a hygienic environment. A recreation room with TV and provisions for indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom is available. Medical officers visit the hostels every day. Deputy Wardens and Resident Tutors reside in the hostels, and they take care of the discipline and welfare of the residents.
