ABOUT TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL:

Training and Placement facility aims to bridge the gap between, the requirements of the corporate houses and the skill sets that the students acquire during college. The present world is largely driven by the service industry, and soft skills are much sought-after, especially by IT companies. Very often recruiters, because of the absence of these skills reject the majority of the candidates. As we are all aware, the undergraduate years coincide with the most impressionable age of the students. Where their attitudes are developed, preferences and interests are formed. Therefore, before stepping into the world of work students require proper initiation and the right personality. Personality enhancement programs at our college are exclusively designed to prepare employable students. The Training and placement cell of our institute is empowered with trained, certified and expert trainers.

OBJECTIVES:

• To invite the best companies of different industries for Campus Recruitment.
• Make students Industry-ready with proper planning, focus and appropriate programmes.
• To promote career counselling by organizing guest lectures, awareness programmes, seminars etc.
• To conduct training programmes both in-house and out-sourcing corporate trainers.
• Plan and organize more Industry - industry-institute interactions for the benefit of students and the faculty.

Training Process:

In order to place the students in good organizations, training is to be given to satisfy the requirements of the organization. The different organization has different kind of requirement and from that we have segregated the most asked one which will be provided to the students from scratch. This training can be given at different stages during their academics, as well as industrial training is also mandatory these days, identifying the appropriate one for the students, and providing training from reputed trainers.

During this tenure, the student will be able to understand and be equipped with the following:

• Able to understand the interests and strengths and the skills acquired.
• Will come to know various domains and opportunities.
• Gain knowledge by attending internships, and other various events.
• Can improve his communication skills and learn how to be a team-builder
• The training process will be done vigorously covering most of things like

Aptitude – Numbers, permutations and Combinations, Probability, Time series, Interest, clocks, etc.

Verbal – reading, writing, grammar, sentence writing/correction and improvement, idioms and phrases, etc.

Reasoning—logical deductions, puzzles, odd man out, blood relations, data interpretation, critical and analytical, Data interpretation, Venn diagrams, data sufficiency, etc.

Technical – C for all branches, Java or OOPS concept, Data structures, python and Database.

Soft Skills-- career planning, goal setting, time and stress management, communication skills, grooming the body language, listening skills, conduction of Mock Interviews (HR round).
