JNTUA College of Engineering, Ananthapuramu rests on a solid foundation of past glory and prestige. It was in 1958 that the college was transferred to present permanent buildings accommodating the Administrative block, Laboratories, Engineering Departments, Library and Hostel blocks. During the first 25 years of its existence, it was affiliated with the Madras and S V University and has produced eminent alumni, who hold high positions, in India and abroad.

Admission 2024-25

Admission to the B.Tech program is based on the AP EAMCET entrance exam. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board to be eligible. The college also provides admission to the B.Tech Lateral Entry program through the AP ECET exam. For the MCA program, selection is based on the AP ICET exam. Candidates applying for the M.Tech program should have completed B.Tech/BE in the relevant specialization from a recognized university. Admission to the M.Tech program is based on either the GATE or AP PGECET entrance exam.

JNTUA College of Engineering B.Tech Admission for 2023

The college provides B.Tech programs in six specializations. To be eligible, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board.

Admission to the B.Tech program is based on the AP EAMCET entrance examination.

JNTUA College of Engineering M.Tech and MCA Admission for 2024

The college provides M.Tech programs in 22 specializations and an MCA program at the postgraduate level. To be eligible for M.Tech, candidates should have completed BE or B.Tech in the relevant specialization from a recognized university. For the MCA program, candidates must have completed BCA or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.

Admission to the M.Tech program is based on either the GATE or AP PGECET entrance examination. For the MCA program, selection is based on the AP ICET entrance examination.

Application Process

Candidates must take the AP EAMCET, AP ECET, AP ICET, AP PGECET, or GATE entrance examination, depending on the course they are interested in. To apply, candidates should register and submit their applications online via the official websites of the respective conducting bodies.

Hostel

JNTUA College of Engineering hostel is on campus. 32 living rooms can accommodate 5 students in each bedroom, equipped with a desk, chair, and wardrobe. There are sufficient toilets, bathrooms, and sinks with running water. There are two dining rooms and a modern kitchen. There is a beautiful chapel also on campus to meet the spiritual needs of the inmates

Library

JNTUA College of Engineering Central Library supports the teaching and research programmers of the Institute and provides facilities for general reading and disseminates information according to the requirements of the users. It is housed in a separate building with a carpet area of 3345 sq.M Sq.ms, and a reading space of 504.68 sqms. It has around 59458 including, books, back volumes of technical national and international journals, technical pamphlets, standards, CD-ROMs, and DVDs. The Library has online journals and access to e-journal databases etc. It is provided through an Internet Bandwidth of 1 Gbps. All e-resources are accessible in the Digital library. The database of entire library acquisitions was created using Library Application Software Called KOHA software.

Computer Facilities

JNTUA College of Engineering's requirement of the day is computer Education. Our computer lab has 49 systems and provides knowledge and experience to our students all the time. The lab is open even after college hours providing opportunities for interested learners to practice and become masters in computer operations. Students utilize the Internet facility to download and prepare for their teaching practicals and use the Net for PowerPoint preparation.
