It is now a sprawling 110-acre campus, green with mango trees in the rapidly developing port city of Kakinada. Kakinada has a rich political culture and cultural heritage passed down from generation to generation. This college became a constituent college of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad wef 02101972. The College became autonomous in 2001. Residential Accommodation
Separate boys' and girls' hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with Wi-Fi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate about 150 students each with good infrastructure.
