Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s Bivrabai Sawant Polytechnic was established in 2006, under the dynamic leadership of Prof. T. J. Sawant keeping the view of the tremendous requirement for skilled human resources in the industry and changing global needs. The Institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Govt. Of Maharashtra affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Mumbai, Maharashtra. The society has many eminent personalities from the field of education and industry on its advisory committee, whose rich experience and guidance benefit society.

BSP offers five courses Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics And Telecommunication, Civil Engineering, And Electrical Enginering. The educational campus is located at Pune Nagar Road wagholi The campus is spread across a total of 24.91 Acres of Land available Out of which 1.5 Acres of land is earmarked for Bhivrabai Sawant Polytechnic wagholi.

Residential Accommodations:

The Institute is fully residential and hostel accommodation is provided to girl students. There are two hostels for girls. There are two common kitchen cum mess units for all students. The mess serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and the units operate under the management of 5 member student mess council. Students staying in the hostel have to necessarily take their food to the Hostel Messes. Every inmate of the hostel is provided with basic amenities like a cot, table, chair, ceiling fan, and cupboard. Each hostel is equipped with solar water heating systems. Common room facilities with Cable TV and telephone are available.

Library:

The college has a library facility for all students.

Classrooms

The college has a central studio, which is connected to all institutes. Every institute has got a Virtual classroom, with an LED screen, through this facility. Video conferencing & guest lectures are arranged for students & staff. Faculty members of different institutes of college are encouraged to deliver lectures on topics of importance through this system. The central studio of this system is located at the college corporate office. This facility is unique and is effectively used in the teaching-learning process. We would like to introduce our video conferencing facility to you all. This facility is implemented at every campus of the college Institute as our family is so large.

Transport Facility

The College buses provide convenient and comfortable travel. Our buses are modern buses with enough space for our students. Our drivers are well-educated drivers with many years of experience. Medical Facilities:

The College provides health care to the students and staff and someone who is injured or taken ill on the premises can be taken for first aid and to await the arrival of professional Emergency Medical Services. In case of Emergency, we will send to Lifeline Hospital, whole for all medical and emergency cases. The hospital is only 1 km away from the college and will send an ambulance along with the doctor in case of an emergency. The College has 20 first-aid kits distributed to various departments.

Sports Facilities:

The college has Outdoor and indoor sports facilities available for volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, football, chess, carrom, table tennis, etc. Ground and facilities are available for cricket, football, etc. Students are motivated/encouraged to take part in various tournaments at College/District/ MSBTE/ State/National level.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

The college objective of the Canteen and meal service is to provide quality food so that the students and staff can be protected by reducing the risk of foodborne illness, with proper sanitary conditions, and preventing adulterated food. A variety of food cuisines are available for the students keeping both their health and taste in mind such as North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, etc. college understands that refreshment time is the time when a student takes a break from their studies to relax and thus campus canteen has been specially designed with a clean and comfortable environment so that the students can enjoy their food. The college cafeteria is open to students, staff, and other visitors to the campus. The canteen serves fresh & hot meals and the menu has been planned meticulously to best fit the needs of the students. A favorite spot of students, the cafeteria provides hygienic and healthy foods, snacks, and beverages at an affordable price.

The admission cell organizes special seminars for these students to tell them about schemes and scholarships if they take engineering admission and also complete engineering when they can get jobs in the government sector and opportunities for higher qualifications.
