The Society for Technical and Medical Education (TMES) was founded in 1983 under the able and dynamic leadership of the late Dadasaheb JT Mahajan, former Home Secretary of Maharashtra, with the aim of providing quality education in the fields of medicine, engineering, and technology. Admission procedure: 

Enrollment in basic courses usually begins immediately after the SS.C. Maharashtra State Board for Secondary and Tertiary Education Exams (X Std) is announced in Pune. Interested candidates should apply using the application form which will be provided to the Director after the results are announced. Recruitment is carried out solely on the basis of the candidate's interim period, according to the procedures established by the Directorate of Technical Education of the M.S.Bombay from time to time. Students who have passed the proficiency test from outside Maharashtra can usually be offered admission in exchange for vacancies at full admission capacity to meet other specified conditions. 

Placement: 

The institute has set up its own unit for training and internships for study orientation, professional training, and organization of job interviews for outgoing students.
