Jyothy Institute of Technology abbreviated JIT JIT is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University and is accredited through AICTE, New Delhi. Courses Offered

Library:

The JIT Library consists of a Central Library and 6 Departmental Libraries and two Hostel libraries that together help with the research, teaching and outreach programs offered by the Institute. Faculty members, students and all other members of the Institute can utilize the library facilities upon acquiring library membership. It has an space which is approximately 400 Sq feet. The library can hold 200 patrons at once that is well-ventilated and equipped.

The library has adopted the Open Access System. Documents are classified according to International Classification System 'Dewey Decimal Classification'. The Library has a large collection of books on all engineering topics.

Cafeteria:

The campus has a cafeteria , as well as an open-air coffee day from the building's main entrance. Vegetarian food is available at both locations and it is open throughout the college's working hours.

Admission

Admission to the BE program is open to those who have at least 45% marks in the 10+2 (Science stream). The final selection to the program will be made in accordance with the marks that are obtained from KCET or COMEDK UGET and Entrance Exam that is conducted by the Institute and/or University.
