Admission Policy:

Kishinchand Chellaram College is a Linguistic Sindhi Minority College, administered under the provisions of the Indian Constitution, to promote the welfare of the Minority community.

As per the Judgement dated 12th October 2017 of the Honourable Bombay High Court vide Writ Petition No. 1726 of 2001, Minority Colleges do not need to set aside seats for Backward Classes. This is reiterated by the University of Mumbai Circular (No.Aff./Recog.I/Admission/(2018-19)/10/of 2018), dated 30th May 2018.

KC College UG Admission 2024:

Kishinchand Chellaram College, Mumbai, offers undergraduate-level degree courses to eligible candidates in the disciplines of Arts, Commerce, Science, Mass Media, and Management Studies. The institute conducts B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com courses with various specializations, including a Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) and a Bachelor's degree in Management Studies (BMS) programs. It also offers a BA Journalism program with a specialization in Film, TV, New Media, and Production.

Candidates applying for the aforesaid programs must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board in order to be eligible. (Research) courses in Microbiology and Chemistry, and an M.Com. program with a specialization in Advance Accountancy, and an MA in Journalism program with specializations in Communication and Journalism, Entertainment, Media, and Advertising.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant or allied disciplines from a recognized institute (or university). Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria specified for the concerned program.
