Sport is an activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and is often engaged in competitively. sports commonly refer to activities where the sole physical capabilities of the competitor are the sole or primary determinant of the outcome [ winning or losing ], but the term is also used to include activities such as mind sports [ a common name for some card games with little to no element of chance ]and motor sports where mental acuity or equipment quality are major factors.

Hostel

We have separate hostels for boys and girls. They are also permitted to use their computers in their rooms. The mess is spacious with a dining hall and kitchen. Separate seating arrangements are made for both boys and girls. All hostels are equipped with solar water heaters for hot water supply. The in-campus Axis Bank ATM's available, which render tremendous help to students in fee payment and money withdrawal.

Transport

The KRCE college transport facilities to the students and staff. Buses are available for all routes in Trichy City and the suburbs. The buses are equipped with a speed governor and first aid facilities. To prevent accidents and late-comers to the college, All services and repairs of the buses are done in the workshop inside the campus, The Buses are well and properly maintained in good condition and we provide buses to all the nook and corners of the city as well as out of the city.

KRCE Admission Process

Admissions are provided to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses of the institute. K Ramakrishnan College of Engineering Tiruchirappalli admissions entrance and merit based followed by a counselling round. KRCE UG admissions to the BE/ B.Tech degree courses are done on the basis of the scores of the 12th standard followed by the TNEA counselling round of the shortlisted candidates. As for KRCE PG admissions to the ME and MBA degree courses, candidates have to qualify in the GATE or TANCET entrance exam and then the TANCA/ TANCET MBA counselling round. Candidates seeking admissions to these courses must meet the KRCE eligibility criteria.
