Two decades have passed since laying the foundation stone by the illustrious chairman of Bannariamman Institute of Technology Shri. S.V. Balasubramaniam Avl. It was an initiation that was fructified into buildings in a year and was declared open to the world by Thavathiru. Santhalinga Ramasamy Adigalar on 5th July 2001. Located in a lush, salubrious environment, during its journey over a decade Kaamadhenu Arts and Science College have made a significant contribution to the field of academics. The Institute has not only proved its Leadership in many areas but also has established itself as the best service provider to the rural public of Sathyamangalam. The institution commenced its functioning in the year 2001-2002 and the Government of Tamil Nadu has accorded recognition to start four courses during the first year. Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, had also granted its affiliation to four new courses namely, A strength of 40 in each course was sanctioned by the University and we were able to admit 160 seats in the very first year itself.

Lab

The computers with the latest configuration are networked together to ensure that the students get complete facilities to thoroughly understand and explore the concepts of computer science and learn the nitty-gritty of their subjects at a faster pace. Our campus has five exclusive high-tech computer labs. These labs are equipped with more than 300 computers having the latest technology for online classes and practical sessions. We are providing a 24X7 Wi-Fi-enabled internet facility for the students. A programming lab is used to inculcate programming skills among them. The terminals are connected with an internet bandwidth of 50 Mbps.

Hostel

Kaamadhenu Arts and Science College hostel for boys and girls with complete safety and security is located within the premises. The rooms are spacious and hygienic, fully furnished with cots and cupboards. Clean toilets and bathrooms with nonstop water connections are part and parcel of the residential mechanism. A full-fledged mess offers catering services to the inmates with diligence and care. The students have television with DTH facility for their leisure time entertainment.
