Library:

The College has a well-lit and sophisticated, spacious library with 600 sqm., for the one-of-a-kind use of graduates' studies facilities. The College library has 32,000 books and 105 journals and magazines that cater to all the B.Tech, M.Tech, M.B.A, M. Pharmacy & Polytechnic branches of engineering, as well as other disciplines. The students have access to 32 multimedia Computers. The Library has a Digital Library facility provided by NPTEL, E-Books, and E-Journals and is a member of DELNET and AICTE-INDEST Consortium.

Hostel:

The mess facilities in the hostels are designed to meet international hygiene standards. Steam cookers and sterilized equipment are used to prepare wholesome, healthy food. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls. Tidy rooms and hygienic facilities make for an ideal stay-away-from-home ambiance. The hostels also have a recreation hall, multi-gym facility, and provision for a variety of indoor games for the students.

Admissions of Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology

A pass in HSE (academic stream) /CBSE/Pre-degree/Plus 2 equivalent school study with minimum eligibility in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (Or). Pass in HSC (vocational stream) with Engineering / Technology as vocational subject and any 1 or 2 of the related subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry (Or).A pass in 3-year Diploma courses conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education or equivalent recognized by the board in the pre-final/ final semester of study.
