Our college was founded in 1998. It is promoted and supported by Devasthanam Virudhunagar Hindu Nadars, Mahama Tharappus of various Hindu Nadars in Virudhunagar, and other educational centers and institutions in Virudhunagar. The leadership of the institute consists of elected members from various Mahamai Tharappus and ex officio members from various educational institutions of Virudhunagar. The Delegates, President, Vice-President, Secretary, Co-Secretary, and Treasurer are elected by the members of the Board of Directors. 

Our college is conveniently located in the homeland of Karmaveerar "Bharat Ratna" K.Kamaraj and our institution is one of the most famous landmarks of Virudhunagar. Thanks to the generous contributions of Virudhunagar Devasthanam, various Mahamai Tharappus, and educational institutions, our institution is constantly growing. Our college currently covers 47.92 acres of land.

Courses Offered: 

Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology Courses are offered by the Undergraduate Programs (BE) Mechanical Engineering, (BE) Civil Engineering, (B.Tech.) CSE in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, (B.Tech.) in Biotechnology Engineering, and Postgraduate Programs (M.Tech.) in Digital Communication And Networking, (ME) in Power System Engineering.

Internal CounterTamilnadu Mercantile Bank Ltd. has been with our university for 19 years.01.2001. Students must deposit their money within the renewal window and pay all fees exclusively through the bank. There is also an ATM for the convenience of students.

The entire campus is well-connected by wired and wireless networks. Internet access with a bandwidth of 45 Mbit/s is available to students.WiFi coverage is not just limited to classrooms but extends to all areas including the library, auditorium, cafeteria, and dormitories.
