Kamdhenu University Admission 2026- Eligibility, Application, Online Form, and Admission Process

Students are imparted with theoretical and practical knowledge in five different disciplines like Dairy Technology, Dairy Chemistry, Dairy Microbiology, Dairy Engineering and Dairy Business Management.

Kamdhenu University B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

1. For Gujarat candidates, passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematic (PCM) with English as a compulsory subject from any statutory University / Gujarat Board/ other board in State or Examinations.
2. The minimum marks requirement is 40 % for general candidates and 35% for SC/ST.
3. For Outside Gujarat candidates, passed the qualifying examination and appeared in GUJCET.

Kamdhenu University B.Tech. Selection Process

1. Admission is done on the basis of the Merit List.
2. Merit list is prepared considering 60 % weightage of the marks obtained in the Theory Papers Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) subject and 40 % of the marks obtained in GUJCET or any other entrance test as notified by the State Government.

1. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
2. For general candidates, minimum 60% marks required and for SEBC/SC/ST minimum 55 % marks are required.
3. Minimum 50 % marks in the common entrance test.

Kamdhenu University M.Tech. Selection Process

1. Admission is done on the Merit Basis.
2. The merit list is prepared by giving 50:50 weightage to the OGPA (percentage basis) of the last degree and marks obtained in the common entrance test examination and marks of sports. 

Kamdhenu University offers advance education in the discipline of veterinary science & Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Science, leading to postgraduate degrees i.e. MVSc. and MFSc.

Polytechnic in Animal Husbandry, Himmatnagar and other affiliated institutes of the university provide diploma programmes in Animal Husbandry.

During the course work of five semesters the students are enriched with the basic knowledge of 18 different subjects of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry in theory and practical listed as under:

Livestock Anatomy, Animal Physiology, Animal Management, English, Computer Application, Animal Nutrition, Animal Breeding, Statistics, Environmental Sciences, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Parasitology, Animal Husbandry Extension, Pharmacology, Animal Reproduction, Animal Health Care, Veterinary Public Health and Veterinary Surgery.

Kamdhenu University Diploma programme Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission in Polytechnic in Animal Husbandry the candidate should have passed Secondary School Certificate Examination of Gujarat State or other equivalent examination along with English as compulsory subject.

Kamdhenu University Diploma Selection Process

1. Selection is done on the basis of marks scored in Secondary School Certificate Examination.
2. For general candidates, the minimum marks obtained in Gujarati / Regional language, Mathematics, Science / Science & Technology, Social Science / Social Studies and English subjects required are 45%, For SC 40% and for ST 35%.
