Kamdhenu University is an agricultural state university located at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. It was established in 2009 by the Kamdhenu University Act, 2009 of the Government of Gujarat. It focuses on dairy sciences.

Kamdhenu University offered Courses Under the umbrella of Agriculture Science and Technology, there are four courses. For Under Graduate studies, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) program taught. For Post Graduate studies, M.Tech. (Dairy Technology) and M.F.Sc. are available for enrolment. For Under Graduate Diploma studies, Dip. (Animal Husbandry) the program offered by the college.

The college has helped students develop an improved outlook on life, and also cultivated a curiosity about the operation of Technology and the way that advanced technology can be the sole way to ensure a prosperous career for those working in the field. Faculty members of the college are outstanding teachers and experts. The professors in our college are highly trained and experienced to give us the best understanding. The method of teaching used by the instructors has helped students in many cases.
Engineering Drawings Fluid Mechanics, Workshop Practice, Thermodynamics are few among the advancing and innovative courses offered to students. Each semester, new subjects, units and lessons are scheduled.
Accommodation:
Since the University is a residential institution, living in hostels is mandatory. This is why the university has created a separate arrangement for girls and boys in the hostels that are available for lease at its colleges and polytechnics. The affiliated institutions provide accommodation facilities for hostels. All students who reside in hostels must abide by the hostel regulations and canteen rules.
Library:
The Library is believed as the centre of every educational institution. Kamadhenu University, the Library of Kamadhenu University is very similar to its core. Its University Library functions as the centre of education at the university. Various facilities are provided by the University to help develop the library.
The University Library was established at Gandhinagar in 2015 which serves the needs for information and literature of post-graduating students and teachers within the departments of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Dairy, Fisheries and allied sciences. At present, the Library is home to journals, books printed in a variety of formats Reports, Back-Volumes of Journals. It also subscribes to Popular Magazines and Newspaper Dailies.
The admission process for admission to B.Tech within Kamdhenu University is done on the basis of marks scored in the GUJCET. The merit list is made based on the marks obtained in PCM of 60% along with 40% marks scored through the GUJCET. For postgraduate students, the universities offer programs in M.Tech. (Dairy Technology), MVSc. (Master of Veterinary Science), MFSc. (Master of Fisheries Science) and PhD. Entry into master's degree programs is made on the basis of the merit list.
A 75% average placement rate is carried out each year. The top salary was 25000 rupees per calendar month, the lowest amount that was offered was 18000 rupees a month and the average wage was $20000 per month. The top companies for recruiting include AMR Dairy, Amreli, Sarhad Dairy Kutch, Vadilal Ice Cream and more. The most sought-after positions are Dairy Technologists. 100 per cent? students were offered internships in various dairy facilities of GCMMF.
The university provides scholarships or financial aid to students on a merit-based basis. Students are selected based on their academic performance and are eligible to receive financial aid.
