KVAFSU B.V.Sc, B.F.Sc & B.Tech Admission:

Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU) presents three undergraduate programs at the UG level: Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech), and Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences (B.F.Sc).

Each UG course at the university features a single specialization. The duration of both B.Tech and B.F.Sc program is 4 years and 6 months, including an internship, while the B.V.Sc. & A.H. program extends over 5 years, including an internship.

Prospective applicants for UG courses are required to undergo the Common Entrance Test (CET) administered by the Karnataka Examination Authority. Admission to B.Tech and B.F.Sc.  programs are based on the candidates' merit. CET applications can be submitted on the official website of KEA.

Candidates interested in any of the UG courses should not be below 17 years of age. The university provides a 5% mark relaxation in the B.V.Sc. & A.H. program for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category.

KVAFSU M.V.Sc, M.F.Sc & M.Tech Admission:


At the postgraduate level, Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU) provides Master's programs, including Master of Veterinary Sciences (M.V.Sc), Master of Technology (M. Tech), and Master of Fisheries Sciences, each featuring a single specialization. The duration of each PG course is 2 years. Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in the respective subject with a minimum of 6.00/10 or an equivalent OGPA/percentage of marks from a recognized university or institute.

KVAFSU MBA Admission:


At the postgraduate level, Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU), extends a full-time MBA program specializing in Food Business. The minimum eligibility criterion for admission is a graduation degree in the relevant discipline. The final selection process involves qualifying the university's entrance test, followed by an evaluation of candidates through Group Discussion (GD) or Personal Interview (PI), taking into account their relevant work experience, if applicable.
