Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University and abbreviated as KVAFSU is a public university, inNandinagar, Bidar, Karnataka. It was established by an Act of Karnataka Legislative Assembly which was passed on February 2004. This university has its headquarters in the Bidar district of Karnataka state of India.
The Government of Karnataka established the University in 2004. The main campus for Karnataka Veterinary, Animal, and Fisheries Sciences University can be situated in Bidar, Karnataka. There are numerous colleges and institutions that fall under the umbrella of KVAFSU. Additionally, there is also the University Grants Commission has approved and acknowledged the university.
In accordance with the Karnataka Act 9 of 2004, The Government of Karnataka established the university to enhance research and teaching in the fields of Fisheries Science Animal Science, Fisheries Science, Animal Science, and Veterinary. Since the day the institution was founded and has since become the leading research institute in various areas of Veterinary and Fisheries Science.
