Kaviyattu College of Education, an affiliated college of Kerala University, is located in Pirappancode, a rural village in Manical Panchayat, Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala. Kaviyattu College of Education is a self-funded, fully-managed college owned and operated by the Kaviyattu Educational and Charitable Trust since 2006. The Trust has a long tradition of education and is also actively involved in charity work in rural areas to encourage the underdevelopment of the class of businesses.

The library has 4,148 books, 10 journals, encyclopedias, and textbooks. In the last quarter, the library was enriched by 200 new works.

Admission to the college is by Kerala University rules. The institute also believes in educating the masses who cannot afford the costs or do not know the benefits of a good education. The poor benefit from the volunteer care provided by the students at this institution.
