Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is a counseling process conducted by Anna University for admissions to BE/B.Tech programs. The application can be completed online or offline by paying the application fee through Net Banking, DD, or cash. Eligibility for TNEA counselling requires candidates to have passed 10+2 from Tamil Nadu. For admission to the M.E program, students must clear TANCET and participate in central counseling. Admission is open to applicants from Tamil Nadu. However, children of Central Government employees not domiciled in Tamil Nadu must provide a certificate confirming their parents' continuous service of over five years at the time of application.

Candidates interested in the BE/B. Tech program must apply via TNEA, using the application form available on Anna University's website.

The application fee is INR 500 for General Category candidates and INR 250 for Reserved Category candidates.
Once the application process is completed, candidates will be invited for counselling.

For M.Tech:

1. The TANCET application form can be downloaded from the official website.

2. Candidates need to register first and then fill out the form using the Login ID and password provided during registration.

3. The application fee is INR 1000, with a reduced fee of INR 500 for SC/ST candidates, payable online.
