Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is a counseling process conducted by Anna University for admissions to BE/B.Tech programs. The application can be completed online or offline by paying the application fee through Net Banking, DD, or cash. Eligibility for TNEA counselling requires candidates to have passed 10+2 from Tamil Nadu. For admission to the M.E program, students must clear TANCET and participate in central counseling. Admission is open to applicants from Tamil Nadu. However, children of Central Government employees not domiciled in Tamil Nadu must provide a certificate confirming their parents' continuous service of over five years at the time of application.

Admission to the M.E course is determined by the candidates' performance in TANCET, followed by counseling and document verification by Anna University. Preference is given to students who have a valid GATE score.
TANCET is an offline entrance examination with an application fee of INR 1,000 (INR 500 for candidates from Tamil Nadu).

The college accepts applications for the Ph.D. program in August and February through the university's website.
Candidates are selected based on their performance in the qualifying examination, along with a valid GATE, NET, or equivalent entrance score. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited for a written test, followed by a personal interview.
