Hostel Facilities

The library remains accessible until 7 p.m. daily, complemented by periodic book exhibitions. Additionally, our Internet Lab offers services, and the canteen operates from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

It subscribes to 102 National Journals, 30 Magazines, and 5 newspapers. KCG College of Technology Admission
For undergraduate admissions, candidates are required to take the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) Entrance Test conducted by Anna University. Following the entrance test, a counseling process is conducted for selection. Candidates who achieve high scores in their HSC examinations are given preference during the selection process.
For postgraduate admissions, candidates need to qualify for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by the State government. This is followed by central counseling. Admission is granted based on the candidate's performance in TANCET, along with counseling and document verification conducted by Anna University. Candidates with a valid GATE score are given preference.
The college accepts applications for the Ph.D. program twice a year, in August and February, through the University's official website. Selection for the Ph.D. program is based on the candidate's merit in the qualifying examination, along with a valid GATE, NET, or equivalent entrance score. Shortlisted candidates undergo a written test and a subsequent personal interview.

Online Mode: Candidates are required to pay INR 500. Reduced fees of INR 450 are applicable for reserved candidates.

Q: What are the eligibility criteria for admission to Direct Second Year Programs (B.E/B.Tech)?
A: Candidates must either achieve the minimum qualifying marks in a Diploma course in Engineering/Technology from the State Board of Technical Education and Training Tamil Nadu or its equivalent as prescribed for the relevant Degree Courses. Alternatively, candidates can qualify with minimum marks in any recognized Bachelor's Degree in Science with a minimum duration of 3 years under the 10+2+3 pattern of study, with Mathematics as a subject at the Degree Level.
Q: What is the fee for TANCET?
A: TANCET is an offline entrance examination with a fee of INR 5,300 (INR 1,150 for SC/ST candidates), payable either in cash or by Demand Draft.
