Foreseeing this, the Khadir Mohideen College is one of the oldest Minority colleges in Tamil Nadu, established in the year 1955 as an affiliated college to the University of Madras and then affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. The College was re-accredited (Second cycle) with a ‘B’ grade by NAAC in 2011. The college is governed by M.K.N.Madharasa Trust-Waqf and offers degree programs from Undergraduate to Research level under Government Aided and Unaided streams. The College is located in Adirampattinam, Thanjavur District, Tamil Nadu, India.

Faculty : 

This is one of the oldest colleges in Tamil Nadu and hence the facility of this college is quite good. Some of the staff is new but most of the staff is working here for a long period. The teachers are helpful and polite.

Placement: 

The placement cell of the college is good. It is one of the oldest colleges for minorities in Tamil Nadu. They give good placement opportunities and also organize seminars and workshops for the students. There are also internship facilities with more or less average stipend.
