KhalisaniMahavidyalaya is an educational institution established in 1970 and situated on the threshold of the rural belt of Singur block in the west and the urban zone of Chandnanagar lying in the east. Since its very inception, our college has been attracting students from both regions and in significant numbers. In fact, the present feeder zone extends over a much larger area from Kalna and Panduah in the North, to Singur and Alinagar in the West, and Baidyabati in the South and that comprises an area of more than 100 square kilometers.

Admission

Khalisani Mahavidyalaya provides various degrees under Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) at the undergraduate level. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized institute/board from a relevant field of study are eligible to apply for the respective courses.

The minimum required mark for a UG degree is 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

During the establishment of the College in 1970, the primary mission was to impart higher education in an area that was predominantly rural in nature and where the light of higher education was not much visible.
