A well-known name in the field of education, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has become a sought-after professional education destination in India. Residential Accommodations:

There are separate hostels for boys and girls with 24-hour wireless internet and intranet access. About 30% of the hostel rooms are air-conditioned. All the hostels have canteens that serve good quality Indian and continental cuisine. Our own international hostel hosts international students. Each hostel has a 24-hour reading room and rooms for indoor and outdoor games.

Library:

The central library serves as the university's main educational resource center. Since 1992, it has provided updated and emerging information resources and services in both hard and soft formats to the academic and administrative community in a modern and well-equipped four-story building. In addition, it has become an invaluable learning resource center for students, researchers, and faculty in engineering, business administration, agriculture, biotechnology, law, medicine, and social sciences at the university. Over the years, the library has built a strong collection of more than 1,018,434 books, 16,806 bound volumes, 665 subscriptions to print journals, magazines, newspapers, and many other resources such as student project reports, CDs (2813), videos (555) and so on.

Medical:

To keep both body and mind fit to meet the challenges of life, KIIT catered to its students comprehensively through sports, games, fitness, leisure, gym, yoga, etc. Medical facilities on and off campus offer e.g. Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, a 1,300-bed specialty hospital within KIIT University, which offers free medical counseling to students. KIIT has established a well-equipped sports club, which is at par with any five-star hotel on campus, with the following facilities: Back Press, Leg Press, and Leg curling. Align station, shoulder press butterfly, abs station, horizontal station, and push-up station.

ITC:

ICT services support the university and all institutions in fulfilling their mission. ICT-SOLU is designed to provide a wide range of IT services to facilitate the work of employees, students, and teachers. It has the capabilities to provide expert services and consultancy as needed, it offers comprehensive training and consultancy to staff and students. ICT CELL is innovative in applying new and existing technology to improve various functions of the university. Responding to the University's diversity requirements, the ICT CELL provides leadership and partnership to promote the effective use and development of ICT facilities across the University. It is a key infrastructure provider for strategic transformation.

Classroom:

Each campus has enough study rooms for 20,000 KIIT University students. The classrooms are air-conditioned and designed according to international standards. Teaching is done with the help of an LCD projector and other advanced teaching aids.

Sports Facilities:

Since 1997, especially after 2005, believing in the principle "invest in youth and sports to invest in the future", KIIT and KISS have promoted sports, nurtured athletes, and created a sports infrastructure that has become a role model for other universities in India. Very early on, in the formative days of KIIT and KISS, Dr. Samanta understood how important it is to invest in sports, just like in Western universities. KIIT and KISS have successfully built a sports infrastructure of the best international standard - all brainchild, implementation, and guidance of Dr. Samantha, who did not have the luxury of playing or playing sports.
