KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, was established to meet the expeditiously changing needs of the industry that demands new skills. The school got academic self-governing power in the year 1997, its own campus in the year 2006 and school status in the year 2009. It has an atmosphere and specialized labs for research and development. Not only postgraduate but also undergraduate students gets a chance to get involved in high-end research work to construct skills that surpass the curriculum.
