The Kishori Raman Shiksha Samiti was established in 1892 as a small Sanskrit pathshala and has emerged today as a glorified institute by erecting 7 institutions of excellence in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. It is an educational body that runs after the name of Thakur Shri Kishori Raman Ji Maharaj Virajman Mathura and is functional in the name of a sacred Temple. Kishori Raman (PG) College, was established in 1947 and is affiliated to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra (Formerly known as Agra University, Agra). At present, the institution offers courses in all three streams i.e., Art, Commerce, and Science. The institution is one of the oldest institutions of Northern India imparting graduate and post-graduate education in all the three faculties. The institution provides research programs for all postgraduate departments.
