Founded in 1917, as a modest Anglo-Sanskrit School, this premier institution of U.P. marched from strength to strength ever since.
Founded in 1917 as a modest Anglo-Sanskrit school, this important institution of the U.P. walks faster and faster since. It was upgraded to college in 1918, and to high school in 1920. Intermediate College in 1923, Graduate College in 1946, Full Graduate College (Faculty of Arts, Science, Commerce) in 1954. Today it is the biggest associated college of Lucknow University catering to the needs of approx 10,000 students at the graduate and post-graduate levels.

Residential Accommodation
Separate boys and girls hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with WiFi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate about 450 students each with good infrastructure. A university van and a car are always available to meet new customer needs. A well-equipped gymnasium is set up for the students of the hostel to develop the physical abilities of boys and girls.
The library
A library is an important asset for any center of higher learning which provides services and facilities to meet the requirements of learning, teaching, research & development, and consultancy programs. Hence, efforts are always directed towards creating a very rich library having all important National and International journals/ newspapers, encyclopedias, and magazines.
The aim of the Library is to fulfill the crucial role of supporting learning and teaching activities to all members of the College. With a collection of close to 90,000 books in addition to thousands of journals and theses, our library is reckoned as one of the best in Lucknow. It has been our endeavor to provide both students and corporates with the best possible research material including the latest writings of management gurus, popular management texts, classical books on management, and much more.
Canteen
It is immaculate and very well maintained. It provides good quality fresh Snacks, cool drinks, coffee, tea, and other food items in a hygienic, healthy way that suits the pockets of the student.
Sport
Physical education is strongly aimed at improving the physical and mental health of each player. This results in the development of dynamic personalities. Sports activities and achievements have helped many people get better job opportunities. The clean area with the natural gift of fresh air is an inspiring resource, motivating the player to perform better. Sports carry the same weight as academics. All sports activities are encouraged by making all facilities available when students participate in intercollegiate, intra-college, and other tournaments.
