KLE College of Pharmacy Admission Latest Updates

KLE College of Pharmacy, Belagavi Admission is open for all UG and PG courses for the academic session 2024-25. The application fees depend on the program in which program you want to be admitted. The KLE College of Pharmacy is also accepting applications for Lateral Entry Courses, Online Degree Programs, and Distance Education Courses.

Admission 2024-25 - KLE College Of Pharmacy, Belagavi

B. Pharm Eligibility

Candidates who have completed the two-year P.U.C. examination of the Karnataka P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination from any recognized Board or university are eligible for admission. The minimum requirement is 45% with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the subjects: Mathematics, Biology, Computer Sciences, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational subjects. 

There is a 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Candidates scoring less than 45% marks in (10+2) but having completed a B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry as one of the compulsory subjects, in combination with any two of the following subjects – Physics, Mathematics, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Computer Sciences, or Electronics, securing not less than 40% marks in aggregate, are eligible for admission to the first year B. Pharm course. 

Candidates who have passed the D. Pharm course with a minimum of 50% marks, approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, are also eligible for this course. They will be admitted directly to the 3rd Semester course, with an additional requirement to study Computer Science in the first semester of B. Pharm, in addition to the third semester of B. Pharm subjects.

M. Pharm Eligibility

The minimum qualification for admission is a pass in the B. Pharm Degree examination from an Indian university established by law in India, from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, with a score of not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 years of B.Pharm). 

Every student selected for admission to the postgraduate pharmacy program in any PCI-approved institution should have obtained registration with the State Pharmacy Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of admission, failing which the admission will be canceled. 

Note: Submission of a migration certificate obtained from the respective university where the candidate passed the qualifying degree (B.Pharm) is mandatory.

Pharm D. Eligibility

Minimum qualification for admission to:

a) Pharm.D. Part-I Course - A pass in any of the following examinations:

(1) 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology.

(2) A pass in the D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

(3) Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

Reservation of seats for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other Backward Classes will be by the instructions issued by the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration from time to time.

b) Pharm.D.  (Post Baccalaureate) Course - A pass in B.Pharm from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. There will be a reservation of seats for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other Backward Classes by the instructions issued by the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration from time to time. 

The number of admissions in the above-mentioned programs shall be as prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India and presently restricted to:

i) Pharm.D. Program – 30 students.

ii) Pharm.D.  (Post Baccalaureate) Programme – 10 students.

Institutions running the B.Pharm program approved under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act will only be permitted to run the Pharm.D. program. Pharm.D. (Post Baccalaureate) program will be permitted only in those institutions that are permitted to run the Pharm.D. program.

Master of Science (M.Sc.) Clinical Research Eligibility:

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in a related stream from a recognized university.

KLE College of Pharmacy Admission 2024 is open for all UG and PG courses for the academic session 2024-25. The application fee for Bhartiya Skill Development University is INR 1,000 to 2,500 depending on courses that you will choose. KLE College of Pharmacy, Belagavi Scholarships is also provided to criteria based deserving or qualifying students.
