The K.L.E. Society’s K.L.E. College of Engineering and Technology has been established in the year 2008 with the sole objective of imparting quality technical education to rural youth. The College is located in the Taluka headquarters of Chikodi of Belgaum District, about 70 km from Belgaum. The campus has a sprawling area of 16 acres at the foot of hillocks on the outskirts of the city. The city of Chikodi has a strong educational base and enjoys a salubrious climate throughout the year. The Institute is a self-financed non-minority college recognized by AICTE, New Delhi, and the Government of Karnataka. K.L.E. Girls Hostel:

KLE College of Engineering and Technology, Chikodi, has a hostel facility for Girls with the mission of providing good hostel facilities in a calm and clean environment. Though our hostel students come from different nooks and corners of our country, they feel at home over here. Our hostel instills supreme human virtues like team spirit, equality, and the art of leadership amongst the students and enables them to become competent Men/women of tomorrow. The Junior Girls hostel also consists of 3 floor well built building 54 rooms and the total capacity is 162 of students.

Transportation:

The institute has a fleet of six buses to fulfill the transportation requirements of the students and staff. A dedicated, well-experienced team of eight drivers drives these buses timely to get students to the college and drop them back after college. As per the norms of RTO the buses have been fitted with the GPS (Global Positioning System) to continuously track the vehicle and speed governors to limit the speed of the vehicles. The buses run through the town as per the defined route covering Chikodi town. Regular trips are arranged to get the girl students from the girl's hostel and from the Chikodi bus stand to get from Chikodi town to the campus.

Sports:

The college has been keen on providing sufficient time and facilities for sports and a gymnasium for both Girl's and Boys Students. Our College has got beautiful ground that provides many fields for different Out-door games like – Running Track, Cricket, Football, Basket Ball, Through Ball, Long jump, High jump, Volley Ball, Double Bar kho-kho kabaddi grounds our both Girl's and Boys' Hostels have got with the facilities like indoor games – Carom, Chess, Table-Tennis, Badminton court. In this academic year, our college students participated in different indoor and outdoor games at different levels. Along with participation, our students have secured many prizes and good places at the College level, State level, and University level.

Placement:

This year our college has reached a high graph in placement. The highest package was for EXTRA MARKS for 5 LPA to all courses. The average CTC was 3 LPA. The placement process is easy and smooth. The college supports me a lot for placement.
