Facilities and Infrastructure

Girls Hostel:

Sharada Ladies Hostel construction become began out withinside the yr 1994-1995 with the ability of 103 rooms. Sharawati Ladies Hostel building was started in the year 2010-2011 with 67 rooms ( all attached ). All the scholars are furnished with properly equipped, spacious rooms including cushy cots, tables, cabinets, and chairs. Each room is provided with good ventilation and a ceiling fan.

Gymkhana and Sports:

From the very inception of KLE, Sports is flourishing and excelling in all dimensions be it VTU intercollegiate, national, invitational, state, or district local tournaments, KLE continues its rich sports culture and strong background of winning prizes for decades. 

Transportation:

The institute has a fleet of 6 buses, having a seating capacity of 52 for one bus and 42 for remaining all five buses. The facility of conveyance is for the students and staff of the institute. The buses cover the entire Belgaum city and suburban areas. The facility is almost used by more than 1800 students in the institute. Transportation helps decrease costs while additionally increasing overall safety, reliability, and conveyance for the students and staff members. The areas covered by the buses are Indal, Hanuman Nagar, Sahyadri Nagar, Ganeshpur, Vijaynagar, Pipe line road, Sadashiv Nagar, rail Nagar, and Nehru Nagar.

Library:

Welcome to Library and Information Center. It is centrally located on the campus, housed in a three-stored ultra-modern Library Building “JNANA CHETANA” with an excellent collection of books, journals, and non-book material in Engineering Technology and Management. The Library has over 1,06, 000 volumes which are updated regularly by way of adding new literature in the form of textbooks, reference books, reports, proceedings, encyclopedias, standards (National & International) Journals, Audio Visual resources, CDs, educational videos and thesis/reports. When the readers enter the Library they find perfect silence, orderliness, and decorum prevailing inside, what is needed most is only their appreciation of these factors and active cooperation in maintaining the same. This kind of atmosphere is bound to generate joy and urge to read in them and further radiate it to everyone inside the Library.

Placement

The placement cell is responsible for all functions related to campus placements and internships. It is run and managed by the placement team conforming to the placement policy laid down by the institute. The team comprised of placement officer, Asst. Placement officer and Placement Coordinators reach out to companies, conducts preparation activities, and organize the final placements drives. The placement cell does not limit its responsibilities only to placing the students on campus but also facilitates and coordinates pool campuses with other institutes thereby opening wide avenues for better placement prospects.
