The VDIT college has a Library & Information Center located in a spacious building with an area of 1423 sqm. At present, the library has more than 3706 titles & 25300 volumes of books-reference books, reports, and bound volumes. The Library subscribes to 52 National and 37 International journals and periodicals. The institute has a membership of “DELNET”. The area of the Library is 1482 sqm. The Library Jan Sudha has a collection of 23015 Books including 3045 Titles and reference books, 52 National journals and 37 International journals, Project Reports, Bound Volumes of journals, eResources and CDs, and DVDs.

Transportation Facility

The VDIT College transport facility provided by our institution is fully equipped with a comfortable seating layout in each of our buses. The college provides excellent transportation facilities with a fleet of 12 buses for students and staff from Hubli, Dharwad, Dandeli, Belgaum, Alnavar, Khanapur, and Beedi. We cover the entire areas of Hubli and Dharwad in our transportation facility. The Transportation facility is also provided to the students when students attend pool campus placements, technical workshops, cultural events, competitions, etc at other colleges. All the buses are equipped with GPS equipment to track the vehicles and cameras in order to ensure the safety of the students. The Transport facility is free for all Students.

ADMISSION TO THE B.E.

Must have passed the 12th class exam or second-year pre-university or equivalent

Must have compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer Science as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study

An aggregate minimum of 45% in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer marks for the general category (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category candidates) and 40% for in optional subjects in the qualifying examination is required.
