Facilities and Infrastructure

Critical Care Medicine:

Being a referral center for all the ICUs in the region, KMCH’s ICU is one of the best and busiest in South India. It has dedicated ICUs to treat surgical, trauma, Medical, Coronary, Transplant, Pediatric, Cardiothoracic, and neuro ICUs with a total bed strength of 150 beds. 

Emergency Services:

Trauma is an emotional shock producing a lasting harmful effect, because of an unpleasant experience from a wound or injury. Road Traffic Accident is one of the common causes of trauma.

Endocrinology And Diabetology:

Hypothyroidism (Underactive Thyroid gland) and Thyroid cancer. We also treat diseases of the Pituitary such as Acromegaly (which is excessive production of Growth hormone), Cushing's Syndrome (Excess production of Cortisol), Diabetes mellitus or excess production of Prolactin, various disruptions of Gonadal hormones (e.g. excess hair in women, breast development in men, arrested puberty, polycystic ovary syndrome, amenorrhea), bone disease (such as osteoporosis, rickets, and hyperparathyroidism), diseases of the adrenal glands, etc. 

Fertility And Reproductive Medicine:

The Fertility Center is an ISO Certified Department dedicated to the service of infertile couples, bringing every available modality of treatment at an affordable cost. The Excellent Team of Clinicians, Scientists, para medics, and counselors strive to achieve the goal of “A baby for every couple”. Ethical treatment as per ICMR and international guidelines is rendered with compassion and personal care. The current success rate of 30-40% matches global standards.

Gastroenterology And Hepatology:

the study and treatment of disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small & large bowel, pancreas, liver, and biliary system. We offer outpatient and inpatient facilities and also provide endoscopy services.

Pediatrics surgery:

Pediatric surgery encompasses the care of children before birth through adolescence and deals with various conditions including correction of congenital malformation, various cancer, injuries, and conditions requiring transplantation. 

ENT / Head & Neck:

KMCH is fully equipped to handle all types of ear nose throat and head & neck disorders. For example, nasal polyps occur frequently and are fleshy growths within the sinuses and nose that cause a nasal block, headache, and considerable distress. Advanced instruments such as Karl Storz endoscope, Magnum IV microdebrider, and high-definition monitors are available for the safe and thorough removal of these polyps.
