Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth Admission to undergraduate programs, such as B.Tech, is determined by the candidate's performance in their previous qualifying examination. DBSKKV UG Admission

1. Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth (DBSKKV) offers undergraduate courses in Agriculture and Fisheries, featuring various specialization subjects. 2. Furthermore, one seat in each of the undergraduate degree courses is reserved for the wards of displaced citizens and the wards of Officers/Staff advertised by Military and Paramilitary Forces/All India services posted to combat terrorist activities in the Jammu and Kashmir State.

DBSKKV PG Admission

1. Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth (DBSKKV) introduces its postgraduate programs, offering a range of courses focusing on Agriculture and Aquaculture/Fisheries, each with various specializations. These programs have a duration of two years, and the intake capacity varies for different specializations.

2. Admission to the postgraduate courses is strictly based on merit, determined by the marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) for the current year, along with the CGPA of the qualifying degree examination.

3. Seventy percent of the marks for admission are based on the Common Entrance Test conducted by MAUEB, while the remaining 30% are derived from the CGPA in the graduation examination, including any additional weights.

4. Twenty-five percent of the seats for all postgraduate courses are reserved on an all-India basis through the Common Entrance Examination conducted by I.C.A.R., New Delhi, which includes an additional 10% of seats beyond the sanctioned intake capacity.

5. However, any remaining vacant seats after considering the waiting list of ICAR, New Delhi, are filled by the respective University through state-level advertisement, following existing rules and regulations for the admission process.

6. After allocating seats for ICAR and OS quota, the first 50% of seats are open for all students of the State (‘M’ quota), while the remaining 50% of seats are filled by students who have passed the qualifying examination from institutions situated in the University area (‘U’ quota).

1. Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth (DBSKKV) offers Ph.D. programs in Fisheries, Farm Technologies, and Agricultural Studies to aspiring researchers. These programs have a maximum duration of three years. Admission to the Ph.D. programs is solely based on merit, determined by the performance in the Ph.D. Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB), as well as the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) obtained in the qualifying postgraduate degree examination.

2. Admission to all Ph.D. courses follows a merit-based approach, where 70 percent of the weightage is given to the CET score and 30 percent to the CGPA of the student in their postgraduate degree examination.
