Gouri Amma College of Engineering was established in June 2009 by the Sree Narayana Guru Memorial Education and Cultural Trust, Thuravoor, Cherthala, Alappuzha. , The college came into being as a result of the desire of a large number of well-wishers demanding a global engineering college to impart value–based and discipline-oriented modern technical education of high standards. The campus nestles itself in a calm pollution-free environment near NH 47, between Ernakulam, Alappuzha, and Kottayam. The college is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure enabling the student to develop their knowledge and skill in a perfect environment.
