Gouri Amma College of Engineering was established in June 2009 by the Sree Narayana Guru Memorial Education and Cultural Trust, Thuravoor, Cherthala, Alappuzha. , The college came into being as a result of the desire of a large number of well-wishers demanding a global engineering college to impart value–based and discipline-oriented modern technical education of high standards.
