Krishna Chaitanya Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS) is offered various levels like Undergraduate i.e Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics & Communication Engineering, etc. Postgraduate i.e. MBA (Master of Business Administration), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), etc. You can also find a brief overview of the different courses offered by the university across various disciplines with their specializations on the Course page.

Admission Procedure
B.Tech Programmes for Krishna Chaitanya Institute of Technology and Sciences
The convener of the AP-EAPCET, Government of A.P., is responsible for the admissions into all the UG Programmes (B.Tech) in the college. These admissions are based on the state-wide ranks obtained in the EAPCET (Engineering And Pharmacy Common Entrance Test). The selection process solely depends on the marks and ranks achieved in the EAPCET. The admission procedure follows the reservation rules set by the university and the state government. For the convener quota seats, the admission process is conducted through web-based counseling, allowing candidates to choose their preferred college and course.
On the other hand, the procedures outlined by the APSCHE are followed for filling up the category-B seats in UG programs in self-financing institutions. The eligibility criteria for admission into both UG and PG programs adhere to the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. At the first-year level, the sanctioned seats in each program are categorized as CATEGORY – A and CATEGORY – B, while at the second-year level, there is provision for Lateral Entry.
1. The reservation policy mandates that the Government of Andhra Pradesh will allocate seats in accordance with the approved policy.
2. The Government of Andhra Pradesh will fill 70% of the seats in the category based on the approved norms.
3. The College will fill 30% of the Category B seats as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
4. Lateral entry candidates will be directly admitted into the Third semester in accordance with the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for Category lateral entry seats.
Please note that the percentages for Category-A, Category-B, and Lateral Entry Seats are subject to change as determined by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Hostel
The college offers a hostel facility with a capacity for 150 students, featuring 32 rooms. Rooms are available in configurations for two or three students, with attached toilet facilities. Additionally, suite rooms with modern furnishings and a separate study area are also provided.
Computer Facilities
Our college boasts a state-of-the-art computer lab equipped with 120 systems and 17" LCD monitors, all with high-end configurations. The lab utilizes advanced and updated software across all its workstations.
Library
The library is managed by an Advisory Committee and is divided into several sections, including the Stack area, Reading area, Newspapers Section, Digital Library, Technical Processing Section, Journals Section, and Reprographic Section. With a collection exceeding 14,000 volumes, the library also offers access to 19 print journals, 900 e-journals, and 600 book copies. The library is equipped with automated software and has seating capacity for 200 members. A digital library for e-resources and 150 CDs are also available. The library allows students to borrow books for a period of fifteen days and staff can borrow up to seven books for one month. A Book Bank service is also available for students upon request.
Sports and Game
The college maintains a comprehensive sports activity center that provides all the necessary facilities for conducting various sports and games. The campus features well-maintained playfields for outdoor games such as basketball, ball badminton, tennis, cricket, kabaddi, hockey, football, and volleyball, as well as athletics events. Additionally, the college has an indoor stadium, a multi-gym, and equipment for physical development.
Cafeteria
The college cafeteria is open to students, staff, and visitors, serving quality and nutritious meals. The spacious and peaceful cafeteria area caters to the dietary needs of our large and growing student population. Recognizing the importance of nourishing meals for students and staff, the cafeteria offers tasty and affordable food options. Extended hours ensure it's a convenient spot for a quick snack or meal.
Transport
The college provides transportation services for the convenience of staff and students, connecting them to major destinations in KITS and surrounding areas. In addition to college-owned buses, public transport options like buses, jeeps, and hiring tempos are available at minimal costs for commuting between KITS town and the campus. A daily transport facility is also provided for day scholars.
