Krishnasamy College of Engineering & Technology (KCET) was established in the year 2001 by Sri Krishnasamy Reddiar Educational Trust with the sole motto of “EDUCATION, DISCIPLINE and EXALTATION”. The management is committed to providing quality technical education to the students, in particular from rural areas. The trust also administers a Polytechnic College, a Women’s Arts College, a School, and a College of Education besides the College of Engineering and Technology.

Facilities and Infrastructure Krishnasamy College of Engineering and Technology

The central library is situated in D block with a three-story building. It comprises an air-conditioned Auditorium on the ground floor, library circulation, and reference section separately on the st and 2nd floors respectively, with a total coverage area of about 20,000 sq. ft. Krishnasamy College of Engineering & Technology has two Libraries – one for Undergraduate programs and the other for Postgraduate programs.

The College possesses a spacious, beautifully designed, sophisticated, and fully air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 750 people with high-end Projection facility, and a PA+Sound System. This is an exquisite part of the college which aims to conduct National level Seminars, Workshops, Symposiums, Faculty Development Programs, Annual day Celebrations, Graduation day celebrations, and all the Red-Letter days of KCET.

Our Engineering College has a well-established infrastructure with separate accommodations for Boys and Girls with an intake of 200 students. Pure Vegetarian food is being served in the hostel for the students. A nominal fee is collected as room rent per Year. The college has comprehensive hostel facilities for the students. Exclusively, three blocks are provided for men, accommodating more than 1000 students. The Boys Hostel of 7700 sq.m has 46 rooms spread over four floors and accommodates about 100 students. Girls Hostel has about 30 rooms in 2900 sq.m with four floors accommodating more than 100 girl students.

KCET provides Wi-Fi (19 Mbps) facilities to the staff and students. This facilitates all laptop users with internet and intranet access around the campus.
