KSR Institute of Engineering & Technology also called KSRIET in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu was established by Aarthi Educational & Charitable Trust in the year 2011. The college offers UG and PG courses in the field of engineering. Admission to its courses is based on the candidates’ performance in the TNEA or TANCET examination.
The K S R Institute for Engineering and Technology is another landmark of the Aarthi Educational & Charitable Trust which has the prerequisite of sprawling education proportionally to the society. It has been founded in the year 2011 by a man of great insight, Thiru.R. Srinivasan. He is the younger son of Lion Dr.K.S.Rangasamy whose altruism enlightens society. His constant dreams and endeavors erected the dome of knowledge for quenching the long unanswered quest among the blooming minds.
The embellishment of the college holds the new doctrine of teaching, which will be ideal for students to kindle the dormant spirit towards learning. A college is an optimal place for pedagogical as well as ethical values. The proficient stream of faculty along with the well-equipped laboratories and technical support foresee the dream of the students.
The College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), NBA, and accredited by Anna University, Salem.
Courses offered by colleges are B. Tech Information Technology, B.E in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ME in Cad/ Cam, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering.
Infrastructure and Facilities:
Classrooms-
Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Classrooms are neat and clean with huge space.
Canteens-
This college is known for canteens. It offers food every day at affordable prices.
Hostels-
All modern facilities are available in hostels. Separate boys’ and girls’ hostels are available on the college campus itself. A/C and non-A/C rooms are there with different fee structures per semester, students can opt as per their needs.
Library-
KSRIET has good library facilities. All books are available in the library.
Transportation-
The college shuttles more than 114 free buses for the benefit of the students from the districts – Namakkal, Erode, Salem, Karur, and Tirupur. It gives a platform for rural students to get quality education.
Sports-
"A sound mind in a sound body." Keeping this in mind, sports activities are encouraged inside the campus. Students are provided with all facilities to participate actively in sports and games. Coaching for the students in various games under the supervision of eminent coachers is being arranged. Vast playgrounds (11 acres) are provided for sports activities.
Placement:
The Placement Cell of KSRIET plays an important part by being a platform for companies and budding engineers for mutual advantage. The Cell believes that appropriate training is essential rather than raw talent. Training is provided right from day one to prepare students for secure placements. It provides training to develop a sense of professional responsibility, career skills, and social and cultural awareness and sets students on the path to leadership.
