Kuriakose Gregorios College, Pampady is located in Pampady, 16 km from Kottayam. It was established in 1981 and is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam, Kerala, India. Nestled in the lush greenery of Kilimalakunnu just one-mile southwest of Alampally Junction, Kuriakose Gregorios College, Pampady is in many ways a unique temple of higher education.  

An institution that strives for perfection with tireless zeal, K.G.The boarding school started back in 1981 in the buildings of the ITC in Pothenpuram near the holy tomb of Pampady Thirumeni where the holy name of the boarding school was established.  On September 14, 1981, the foundation stone for the new university building was laid and within a year the university was relocated to its new location. The next three decades saw a saga of academic success. Today KGCollege has acquired fame and is named one of the best colleges under Mahatma Gandhi University with a B++ Grade in NAAC Re-accreditation.

Kuriakose Gregorios College offers Undergraduate Programs for Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) General, and Postgraduate Programs Master of Commerce (M.Com), Master of Science (M.Sc.) Physics, Master of Science (M.Sc.) Zoology.

Library: 

College Library is settled in a calm and serene atmosphere close to the college building. The library is spread over 7000 sq ft and has a seating capacity of 100 students. The Library follows the open access system and has a total of 17606 books of which 16773 are textbooks and 833 are reference books. It also subscribes to 30 periodicals. The library is automated and registered in the NLIST by UGC INFLIBNET, which provides access to e-books with over 195,809 titles and e-journals with over 6,293 titles. The library has archival volumes of periodicals and also offers users reprographic services. 

Auditorium: 

Our college auditorium is very comfortable and well-located. It is one of the largest lecture halls of the nearby universities. It is able to accommodate all the students and teachers of the boarding school at the same time. Our auditorium also has a balcony on two sides. We have a good number of chairs, microphones, speakers, and sound systems to organize the programs. It is also equipped with 2 green rooms and toilets. We have 3 main entrances and a special backstage entrance. The audience stage is spacious and majestic. 

Playground: 

Our college has a large equipped playground. That's about an acre of land. The grounds are spacious for students to play cricket, football, volleyball, ball throwing, etc. It is designed so that other students can use the auditorium porch to watch games. We have a main entrance and two side entrances to the auditorium. The college now has a special gallery along the library building to get a better view of the grounds. 

Cafeteria: 

Our college has a canteen. Students, teachers, and non-teaching staff can use the facilities for the entire duration of the college. The cafe is stocked with snacks, coffee, tea, sweets, and other healthy foods. Students enjoy eating in the midst of nature at our 'Kaattadi', a recreation area for students.
